A workshop on “Role of Research Publications in Teaching and Learning” was organized by BCA department on 22nd August 2017 at the conference hall at 3 PM. The resource person was Dr. Iqbal Thonse Hawaldar, Assistant to the president for AQA, Kingdom University, Bahrain. Dr. Iqbal spoke about the various opportunities available in publishing articles in academic field. He opined that research is very essential at college level and there are huge opportunities for a researcher. He in his talk spoke on the advantages of publishing articles in good journals and shared his experience of publishing in a wrong journal and how it had affected his career. He inspired the faculties to register on research gate as various good journals are available in it and knowledge is always required for teaching. He gave several tips and advice about publishing research article and marketing it. He also shared his experience of being a researcher. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. DivyaUchil
