A faculty development programme on the topic “Staff Orientation towards Career Guidance and Counselling” was organised by the department of Business Management on 5 August 2021 at 2.30 pm in the conference hall. The resource person was Ms. Swathi Shenoy and Mr. Syed Ahmed Naqid, Career Coach, Head held high education, DK . The objective was to acquaint the faculty members with techniques of career guidance and counselling. The programme also aimed at providing detailed information on UNDP and its Project “UNNATHI”. Ms. Swathi Shenoy spoke about the UNDP and its ventures to improve access to career guidance, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth. Highlighting the challenges faced by the youth in making career choices, she suggested the motivational techniques to help the students in this regard. Mr. Syed Ahmed Naqid gave detailed information on Project Code “ Unnathi”, explaining its relevance and benefits to the students. Mrs. Smitha M. welcomed the gathering.
