A workshop on “National Educational Policy 2020” was organized by SDM College of Business Management in association with NEP Task Force on 9 September 2021 to the teaching and administrative staff . Dr. Jenifer Lolita C Joint Director, Mangaluru and Mr. Devi Prasad, special officer office of the Joint Director Mangalore were the resource persons.
The resource person Mr. Devi Prasad gave a detailed report on the proposed NEP -2020 and its impact on school and colleges. He added that the students enrolling in the Higher Education System will acquire holistic and multidisciplinary Education. The New Education policy enables the students to enhance their employability.
Dr. Jenifer Lolita C, in her address said that the new education system provides equal exposure to curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular subjects and activities. She added that educators will now play a more credible role in churning out holistic students.
Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath in her presidential remark said that with New Education Policy education system is accelerating towards 4.0 which will enable the student to have a multidisciplinary exposure犀利士 .
