The Finance Department in association with MUCTA has organised an Investors Awareness Programme for II BBA ‘A’ and ‘B’ students on 18th January 2023 at Conference hall. The programme was inaugurated by Mr.Jay Karia, Entrepreneur and Alumni SDMCBM. He shared his knowledge on stock market and motivated the students to start investing in the same.
There were three technical sessions.In the first session Mr. Naveen Rego, SEBI registered Investment Advisor and a certified investor planner addressed the students on financial literacy. He a spoke about the importance of saving at early stage and also enlisted the legal requirements for investing in stock markets. Mr. Leo Amal K, Senior Branch Manager, Franklin Templeton was the resource person for the second session enlightened the students on time value of money.In the third session Ms. Sapna M Shenoy , Investment Services Professional explained the concept of personal investment.
