SDM College of business management celebrated our country’s 77 Th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotism. Chief Guest Cornel Prem Shetty, Indian Army unfurled the National Flag.
The college choir sang the National Anthem in perfect unison and patriotic song was sung on the need to keep the love for our country uppermost in our hearts.
The Chief Guest In his address to the students urged the students to think of what this freedom really meant to each one of them. He highlighted the need to speak the language of affection and brotherhood to all around. He encouraged the students to celebrate differences and reiterated the message that respect should guide their every action. He shared his experience of serving the country and motivated the students with his warm words.
He was then presented with a memento by the College Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath.
Staff and Students of SDM college of business management and SDM Law College were present.
Ashray compered the programme, Diya Sebastian Welcomed the Gathering and Introduced the Chief Guest, Shanvitha proposed Vote of Thanks.
Physical Director Mr.Sudarshan coordinated the programme.
