NSS unit of SDM College of Business Management in collaboration with DKMS- BMST Foundation India organised a “Blood Cancer Awareness” programme on 31 August 2024.
Mr.Rohit Rajiv, Associate member ,DKMS BMST Foundation was the chief Guest.
During his speech, he started the conversation by outlining their goal of registering potential blood stem cell donors and promoting awareness of blood stem cell transplantation in order to better the lives of patients with blood cancer and other blood illnesses both domestically and internationally. In addition, he urged people to sign up as stem cell or bone marrow donors. As a result, over 150 volunteers signed up to be donors.
Neha compeered the programme, Sanika welcomed the gathering and Ankitha proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was coordinated by NSS student coordinators Mr.Veekshith Poojary and Ms.Monisha Gatty and NSS programme officers Dr.Jyoti and Mr.Sudarshan.
