The Finance Department in association with BSE has conducted the online Investors Awareness Programme 10 June 2024 in the conference hall for III BBA ‘B students. Ms.Marina Jose Kanjikal , trainer from BSE-IPF ,Mumbai was the resource person. The objective of this programme is to introduce the students to the world of investing, with emphasis on how to choose right company. The webinar was conducted through Google meet.
The resource person spoke on the misconception associated with investing in shares by introducing the students to the basic principles of investing in shares. She highlighted the common mistakes made by the investors in the stock exchange and explained the benefits of financial planning and the importance of starting early.The programme enabled the students to be confident of investing in stock market to reap maximum returns from their investment thus to be financially independent in their future life.
