The SDM College of Business Management inaugurated the National Service Scheme (NSS) Seven-Day ( 20 to 26 February 2024) Annual Special Camp .The camp was inaugurated on 20 February 2024 ,at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Bolanthooru, Nalkur Village, Bantwal Taluk. The event commenced with great enthusiasm, focusing on fostering social responsibility and leadership among students.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Sri Rajesh Nayak, Social Worker, Bantwal. Sri Sudhakar Bhaskar Bhat, President of the Karnataka State Secondary Teachers’ Association, Mangalore, was the chief guest. The event also featured an insightful address by Prof. Arun Kumar, Head of the Commerce Department, Mangalore University. Dr. Bharath Shetty, MLA of Mangalore City North, graced the occasion and emphasized the role of education in fostering a service mindset among students.
