The Department of Computer Applications organized a Google Colab Hands-on Workshop on “Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence” on 26 August 2025.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Sanju S. Anand, Assistant Professor, Alva’s College, Moodbidri. He introduced students to the fundamental concepts, applications, and scope of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, while also providing practical exposure to Google Colab and Python-based frameworks.
The objective was to enable students to gain a foundational understanding of AI and ML, explore their real-world applications, and apply popular Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Seaborn to practical tasks.
