The NSS Unit organized a series of pre-event activities from 23 to 29 November 2025 in connection with the Sardar @150 Nationwide Initiative to commemorate the vision and ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The programme aimed to promote unity, leadership, self-reliance, social
responsibility, and overall well-being among students.
As part of the initiative, a one-day cleaning camp was conducted on 23 November 2025 at Govanithashraya Trust, Beejaguri, Pajeer.
The objective was to promote cleanliness and community service.
An oath-taking ceremony washeld on 24 November 2025 to instill values of national unity and responsible citizenship.
On 25 November 2025, an essay competition on Ek Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat was organized to create awareness about self-reliance.
A debate competition on 26 November 2025 titled “Youth Leadership is the New
Instrument of National Integration” encouraged leadership qualities and critical
thinking.
An elocution competition on 27 November 2025 on “Strength in Unity
– Patel’s Message for Today’s Youth” highlighted the importance of unity.
A drawing competition on 28 November 2025 on Vision of One India promoted
creative expression of national integration.
The programme concluded with a yoga session on 29 November 2025 to emphasize physical and mental well- being.
Overall, the activities effectively conveyed the message of unity, leadership,
and nation-building inspired by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs Preethika Dharmapal and Mr. Sudarshan.
