BCA students, in association with Rovers and Rangers of SDM College of Business Management, visited C1C Readymix India Pvt. Ltd., Baikampady, Mangaluru, on 29 April 2026. Fifteen VI Semester BCA ‘A’ section project students participated in the visit. The objective was to understand the real-time manufacturing process of ready-mix concrete (RMC) and to gain exposure to automated batching, mixing, and quality control systems used in modern concrete production.
During the visit, students observed the centralized, computer-controlled batching plant, including the twin-shaft mixer system, and learned about raw materials, logistics, industrial safety practices, and environmental measures. The company also demonstrated its quality control mechanisms such as precise weighing, continuous monitoring of mix design, and adherence to standard certifications.
