An Orientation Programme on UPSC and KPSC examinations was organized for the final year BBA students at DM College of Business Management by the Training and Placement Cell of SDM College of Business Management on 27 April 2026.
The objective was to create awareness about civil services and
guide students on career opportunities in government sectors.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Santosh Shanay, IAS Trainee from an IAS Coaching Centre, Mangalore.
He provided valuable insights into the process of entering IAS and KAS examinations, explaining the preparation strategies, examination pattern, and the dedication required to succeed in competitive exams. He also highlighted various opportunities available in government services and motivated students to consider civil services as a career option.
