The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Library, organised an awareness programme for the UG and PG faculty members of SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, on 22 May 2026.
The objective was to create greater awareness regarding effective library usage and the academic resources and services available for teaching and research.
Dr. Rajatha P. Shetty, Chief Librarian, SDM Institute of Technology, Ujire, served as the resource person for the session. During the programme, she provided detailed insights into the various library resources and services, with special emphasis on DELNET facilities, plagiarism awareness and effective utilisation of library resources.
The session included practical demonstrations on the functioning of DrillBit and other academic software related to plagiarism detection and research support services. The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the faculty members by enhancing their understanding of ethical research practices and academic resource management.
Dr. Bhanuprakash B.E., Principal of SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, and Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, Director of MBA, Faculties of UG and PG and Library staff were present during the programme.
The Programme was coordinated by IQAC Coordinator Mrs.Gayathri and Mr.Praveen Nayak Librarian.
