The Training and Placement Cell of SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, organised a Workshop on Data Analytics in association with Career and Ladder Technology on 24 July 2026 at the College Conference Hall.
The workshop was conducted for the final-year BBA and B.Com students, along with the second-year BBA and B.Com students, with the objective of introducing them to the growing importance of data analytics and its applications in today’s business environment.
The resource persons for the programme were Mr. Anup and Mr. Karthik, professional trainers from Career and Ladder Technology. They delivered insightful sessions covering the fundamentals of data analytics, data-driven decision-making, business intelligence, data visualisation, and the career opportunities available in the field. The speakers also demonstrated practical applications of analytical tools and explained how data analytics is transforming various industries, including finance, marketing, human resources, and operations.
The interactive sessions enabled students to understand the significance of analytical thinking and encouraged them to develop industry-relevant skills to enhance their employability. The trainers also addressed students’ queries and shared valuable guidance on preparing for careers in analytics and related domains.
