The NSS Unit of SDM College of Business Management organised an Orientation Programme for newly enrolled NSS volunteers on 29 July 2026 to introduce first-year students to the objectives, activities, and values of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The session was graced by Mrs. Akshatha V, Lecturer at Govinda Dasa College and Namma TV Anchor, and Mr. Karthikraj, Alumnus of the college, Unit Head, SDM Eye Hospital, and Head of Units, I Care Opticals, as the Guests of Honour. They inspired the students to develop leadership qualities and a spirit of selfless service. The Principal, Dr. Bhanuprakash B.E., addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to actively participate in NSS activities. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Preethika Dharmapal and Mr. Sudharshan K.
