The inauguration of the Hindi Association “Sphuran” of SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, was held on 12 August 2026 at the college. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. R. Nagesh, Professor of Hindi, St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.
The programme aimed to foster interest in the Hindi language among students and encourage them to explore its relevance through new ideas and contemporary perspectives. In his address, Dr. R. Nagesh highlighted the significance of Hindi, its wide-ranging applications, and its continued relevance in the modern era. He encouraged students to appreciate the language not only as a means of communication but also as a medium for knowledge, creativity, culture, and expression.
The programme was attended by the Principal, faculty members, faculty coordinators, student coordinators, and students of the college. The event provided an enriching platform for students to develop greater interest and enthusiasm towards Hindi language and literature.
The inauguration programme was successfully organised under the coordination of Dr. Shalini M., marking the beginning of the activities of the Hindi Association “Sphuran” for the academic year.
