The Commerce Association of SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, was inaugurated on 19 August 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Conference Hall. The programme was graced by Dr. Abubakkar Siddiq as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Bhanuprakash B. E., Principal, presided over the event. Mrs. Pooja served as the Staff Coordinator, with Ms. Nisarga and Mr. Yashas as the Student Coordinators.
The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by the welcome address, introduction of the Chief Guest, and ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Plan of Action for the Commerce Association was then presented, outlining the activities planned for the academic year. Dr. Bhanuprakash B. E., Principal, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to actively participate in association activities and make the best use of the opportunities provided. The Chief Guest, Dr. Abubakkar Siddiq, delivered an insightful and motivating speech, highlighting the importance of knowledge, skills, and active engagement in the field of commerce. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks. The inauguration was successfully conducted and marked the beginning of the Commerce Association’s activities for the academic year 2026–27.
