The Youth Red Cross (YRC), in association with the Fine Arts Association, organised a street play on “Cyber Security and Mental Well-being” at KSRTC Bus Stand, Bejai, Mangaluru, on 26th August 2026, with the objective of creating awareness among the public about the impact of excessive digital usage on mental well-being. The volunteers presented an informative and engaging performance highlighting the importance of safe and responsible use of digital platforms, awareness of cyber threats, and the impact of excessive digital usage on mental well-being. The street play effectively created awareness among the public and encouraged them to adopt safe online practices and maintain a healthy balance between digital life and mental health. The programme also helped students develop confidence, teamwork, communication skills, and a sense of social responsibility. The programme was well received and served as an effective medium for spreading awareness among the community. Mrs. Parinita Salian, Mrs.Sanjana, Mrs. Reshmi, and Mrs. Varsha Rai coordinated the programme.
