From College to Corporate: What to Expect in Your First IT Job

An alumni interaction programme on “From College to Corporate: What to Expect in Your First IT Job” was organised for 2 BCA A on 21 August 2026. The resource person was Ms. Keerthana T. Naik, Tech Support Engineer, UnifyCX, Kavoor, Mangaluru. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about the IT work environment, industry expectations, and career opportunities, and to promote knowledge and experience sharing between alumni and students. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Sowmya Jyothi. Ms. Keerthana shared her professional journey and explained the importance of technical skills, communication,
teamwork, adaptability, and professional etiquette. She also shared her work experience and provided valuable career guidance to the students. Students found the session informative and useful.
