The Department of Computer Applications, SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore, organized a one-day workshop on “Full Stack Development” on the 7 of October 2026. The objective of the programme was to provide the students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in modern web application development. Ms. Sneha Rai, Full Stack Developer from Varmatrix EduTech Company, Mangalore, served as the Resource Person for the programme.
The primary objective of the workshop was to familiarize students with the fundamentals of full stack development and help them understand the process of designing and developing web applications. The session focused on both theoretical concepts and practical implementation, enabling students to gain a better understanding of front-end and back-end development.
Ms. Sneha Rai explained the concepts in a clear and interactive manner and demonstrated various aspects of full stack development. The students were given practical exposure through hands-on sessions in the computer laboratory, where they worked on development tasks under the guidance of the resource person. The practical session enabled students to apply the concepts learned during the workshop and gain experience in developing web-based applications.
The workshop provided students with an opportunity to enhance their technical skills, confidence in working with web development technologies. The hands-on learning experience helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The workshop was coordinated by Mrs. Divya Uchil.
