SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore organised orientation programme for the new entrants of the institution on 6 November 2021. The objective of the programme was to make students aware of the academic aspects of the courses, rules and regulation of the college and to introduce the various associations in the college. The programme commenced at 9.15 am with the prayer.
Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath welcomed and gave a brief introduction about the college. Continuing with this she stated being admitted to management institution students should develop entrepreneurial outlook and managerial capabilities in all the streams. She motivated the students to have a positive outlook. She also enlightened the students about the New Education Policy to be introduced this academic year.
Faculty incharges of various associations gave a detailed presentation of the skill enhancement activities to be conducted during the academic year. In addition to this, freshers were also told about the various fests organised by the college i.e Genesis, Synergy and Sygma by the respective staff in charges.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Manju H. Mrs. Kavya U compeered the programme. The programme was organised by The Student council coordinators Mrs. Veena D Kotian and Mrs. Divya Uchil.
