On her retirement from the service, a farewell function for Principal Prof. Aruna P. Kamath was held at SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, today (March 31).
Speaking after felicitating, chief guest, Shashishekhara N. Kakathkar, Academic Coordinator, SDM Educational Society, Ujire, appreciated Prof. Kamath’s dedicated leadership and her role in strengthening academic standards and institutional discipline.
He highlighted her ability to lead with integrity, her student-centric approach, and her commitment to the holistic development of the college.
He also acknowledged her efforts in fostering a positive academic environment and wished her a peaceful and fulfilling retired life.

On the occasion, it was also announced that Dr. Banu Prakash would take charge as the next principal.
