Annual Athletic Meet of SDM College of Business Management was held here at Mangala Stadium today (April 5).
Keerthi G.K., National Karate Coach W.K.F., was the Chief Guest. He hoisted the flag signaling the start of the Sports Meet.
Addressing the gathering, he said that the present generation has a lot of opportunities in the field of sports and they need to utilize completely.
March past was held. Each class marched on a particular theme.
Prof. Aruna P Kamath, Principal, SDM College of Business Management, in her presidential address said that sports play an important role in the development of student’s mind and physic.
She congratulated the students for march past conducted and wished the participants good luck for the various track and field events.
Neha, Sports student coordinator, administered oath to the students to show determination and commitment to sports.
The programme was compered by Archith Jain. Radhika proposed vote of thanks.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of the sports events.
