Annual College day celebrations held at SDM College of Business Management (SDMCBM), Mangaluru on 29 April 2025.
Dr. Jayaprakash, Principal, Gokarnatheshwara College, Mangaluru, was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he spoke about the value of teachers in shaping institutions and individuals.
“The attitude to try and win is what defines real success”, he remarked. He lauded the college’s efforts in promoting skill enhancement and holistic student growth.
Shivani Shetty, Founder and Creative Director of Craftzilla and Vivani House of Celebration, was the guest of honour. She shared her entrepreneurial journey and inspired students to pursue their creative strengths.
“Clarity, courage, and creativity are the cornerstones of success”, she emphasised.
Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, Principal, SDMCBM, presented the Annual Report and highlighted the achievements of the institution in academics, placements, co-curriculars, and industry collaborations.
Prizes were distributed to university rank holders and meritorious students. The prize distribution ceremony was followed by cultural extravaganza by the students.
Mrs. Kavitha Prabhu and Mr. Tilak Raj, Student Council coordinators; Anarghya S Achar,Janani P,Shreegowri coordinated the programme.
