Mangaluru, September 2: The Department of Computer Application of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management, Mangaluru, organised ARCVERSE 2026, an interclass IT fest, on September 2, 2026, at the Conference Hall. The fest was organised under the theme “A Multiverse of Innovation” with the aim of encouraging students to explore technology, creativity and innovative thinking.
The programme provided students with a platform to showcase their technical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities. Through various IT-oriented activities and competitions, students were encouraged to apply their knowledge beyond the classroom and develop a spirit of innovation and healthy competition. The fest also created an opportunity for students to interact, collaborate and share their ideas with their peers.
Shivaprasad Bhat, Technical Lead – Mobile App Development at Cardinal Health International India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, was the chief guest for the programme. His presence added professional value to the event, and his experience in the field of technology served as an inspiration to the students. The programme also highlighted the growing importance of technology and innovation in the contemporary world.
Principal Dr. Bhanuprakash B. E. encouraged the students to make the most of such opportunities and actively participate in activities that enhance their technical and creative abilities. The event was coordinated by student coordinators Anupama Acharya and Ramu, under the guidance of staff coordinator Arun F. Sequeira.
ARCVERSE 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and provided them with a valuable platform to demonstrate their talents and explore their interest in information technology. The event successfully brought together innovation, technology and creativity, making it a significant academic and co-curricular initiative of the Department of Computer Application.
