The Youth Red Cross (YRC) Association organized a guest lecture on “Cancer Awareness and Prevention: Bridging Knowledge and Practice” on 13 August 2025. The objective was to highlight the importance of early detection and screening in
improving survival rates.
The resource person Dr. Prathviraj B.U., Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, was the resource person.
He delivered an insightful talk on cancer awareness, early detection, preventive strategies, and the role of youth in health promotion.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Parinita Salian and Mrs. Reshmi.
