College day celebrations were held here at SDM College of Business Management (SDMCBM) today (May 3).
Dr. Anasuya Rai, Principal, University College, Mangaluru, was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, she said, “Life long learning contributes to a better society”. She congratulated the college for its multi various achievements.
Christopher D’Souza, Director-Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, St. Aloysius College, Alumni of SDMCBM, was the guest of honor.
He shared the reminiscence of college days and added that he received the best from the portals of SDM College of Business Management. “Clinging on to our passion adds value to our life”, he emphasized.
Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, Principal, SDMCBM, presided over the programme. She emphasized that winning and learning go hand in hand.
Prizes were distributed to university rank holders and meritorious students. The prize distribution ceremony was followed by cultural extravaganza by the students.
Mrs.Manju H and Mrs.Kavitha Prabhu, Student Council coordinators; Srijana Shetty, Khushi Bansali, Lavanya and Preethika Baliga, Programme’s Student Coordinators; Sameeksha and Keerthana, Secretaries, were present.
