SDM College of Business Management organized College day celebration on 23 May 2023 in the college auditorium at 9:15 am. Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath presided over the programme and presented the college annual report. She congratulated all the members of SDM fraternity for consequently securing ‘A’ grade in NAAC for three consecutive assessment periods. Chief Guest Dr. Premalatha, Principal Canara College, Mangalore motivated the students to choose their path towards success . She added that loosing is an experience, it motivates us to do better which ultimately contributes to accepting all the opportunities leading us to success.
Mr. Rahul Amin, Actor and Director Tulu film industry, Alumni of SDMCBM was the guest of honour. He shared the reminiscence of college days and added that he received the best from the portals of SDM College of Business Management. He emphasized that clinging on to our passion adds value to our life.
On this occasion a book titled “Bhavanegala Bayalinalli” a collection of poems written by Archith Jain of II BBA was released by the dignitaries on the dias. Prizes were distributed to university rank holders and meritorious students.
The prize distribution ceremony was followed by cultural extravaganza by the students.
Student council coordinator Mrs. Divya Uchil, student coordinators Ms. Jahnavi, Ms. Riya G and Ms. Adhiti Kini were present. Ms.Adithi kini welcomed the august gathering. Ms. Jahnavi and Ms.Dhruthi introduced the guests. Ms. Ria proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Deepika Sharma compeered the programme.
