The EDP unit of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar College of
Business Management, Mangalore, conducted a one-day workshop on “Issues
and Challenges for Entrepreneurial Success.” “Students should move ahead in
life and succeed in realizing their positive ideas,” stated Mr. Aditya Pai,
Managing Partner of M.S. Pai & Company, Mangalore, during the program’s
opening. Mrs. Shivani Shetty, the creator of Craft Zilla in Mangalore and a
college alumna who was the program’s chief guest, gave the students motivation
by saying that “those who involve themselves in entrepreneurship should
develop good relationships with customers.” On 24 April 2024
In the first of the workshop’s two sessions, Mrs. Preeti Naik, co-founder of
JOOS BOTAL in Mangalore, provided a resource talk on the subject of
“Journey from Hustler to Entrepreneur.” As a resource speaker, Mr. Praveen S.
Bhandari, a business branding consultant from Mangalore, discussed “Building
Beyond Business” in the second session.
The college’s principal, Professor Aruna P. Kamath, presided over the program.
The instructor stated, “This workshop should not be limited to today only but
should be a foundation for the pursuit of innovation in the days to come.”
Students from various colleges participated in this workshop, the workshop was
successful in motivating young entrepreneurs to engage in the field of
entrepreneurship. On this occasion Mrs. Supritha R.K., Coordinator of EDP
Unit. Student coordinators Harshendra BS and Chandana J. Nambiar were
present. Ashish hosted the program and Dheeraj Prabhu presented the
valedictory programme.
