The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Cell, in collaboration with the Finance Association of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management, organized a workshop titled “Empowering Future Entrepreneurs Through Self-Employment” on 29 October 2025. The event aimed to inspire students to explore self-employment opportunities and develop essential entrepreneurial skills.
The session featured Mr. Ajeya, Director of RUDSETI, who emphasized the importance of cultivating a positive attitude and setting clear goals to achieve entrepreneurial success. Mrs. Prathiksha Baliga, an alumna and Guest of Honour, shared valuable insights on the role of entrepreneurship in job creation, especially for the underprivileged sections of society.
The workshop also included informative technical sessions conducted by Mr. Abhraham James P. V. and Mrs. Anasooya, along with other faculty members from RUDSETI. The sessions covered key topics such as financial schemes for self-employment, success stories of local entrepreneurs, and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs.Supritha and Mr. Gurudath Shenoy .
