SDM College held a highly engaging seminar on entrepreneurship as part of the Karavali Startup Program, featuring two renowned figures in the startup landscape, Mr. Ashwin Pai and Mr. Adeeth Kalbavi. The seminar took place on 28 October 2024.
Mr. Ashwin Pai started the session by sharing his entrepreneurial journey, crediting the Karavali Startup Program for fostering the growth of aspiring entrepreneurs. He introduced the “FINISH” strategy, a structured approach centered on focus, interaction, solving now, initiative, staying the course, and transforming interruptions into solutions. He emphasized that this framework is key for entrepreneurs to stay committed to their vision while effectively navigating challenges.
The session continued with insights from Mr. Adeeth Kalbavi, who discussed the contributions of AIC NITTE (Atal Incubation Centre) and CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) in supporting startup innovation. Mr. Kalbavi encouraged students to develop a well-defined business plan, conduct thorough market research, and leverage existing resources for support as they embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
