A faculty development programme on “Blue ocean strategy – industry institution interaction” was organized by IQAC on 22nd June 2017 in conference hall. The resource person was Dr. Anjali Ganesh, Professor, Dept. of Business Administration, St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru. The objective of the programme was to acquaint the faculties with the requisites of adopting blue ocean strategy in the interaction between institution and industry. The resource person, in her address, highlighted the various forms of interactions that can be done by the institutions with the industry to increase their value culture. She opined that since the trends in education have changed, it is very essential to educate the students not only in the classroom but also beyond the classroom and this can be made possible by having a focused and formulated strategy for industry institution interaction. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Shashikala Shetty.
