A faculty development programme was organized by IQAC Department on the topic “Choice Based Credit System” by Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, Principal on 18 September 2018. In the session, she spoke about Choice Based Credit System programme in which the students have a choice to choose from the prescribed courses, which are referred as core, elective or minor or soft skill courses graded on the basis of credit system. She added that in order to look into the needs of the students and to keep them up-to-date with development of higher education the University Grants Commission has come up with the Choice Based Credit System.
