A faculty development programme on the topic “Methodical organization and Uploading of NAAC New System” was organized by the department of Computer Application on 30th July 2019 at the conference hall. The resource person was Dr. Naveen Kumar K. R., Associate Professor, Dept. of Commerce, Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi. Prof. Naveen addressing the faculties opined that the NAAC new way of accreditation of the colleges includes online submission of documents at NAAC portal and the peer team visit to the college. He addressed the special features of the new system like, the introduction of system generated scores, different metrics weightage and scores. He also spoke on the process of assessment which includes Institutional Information for Quality Assessment and Self Study Report. The resource person gave useful tips to the faculties for the preparation of the upcoming 4th cycle of NAAC reaccreditation. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Divya Uchil.
