‘Genesis-2022′, University Level Management Fest was inaugurated by Dr. Usha Prabha N Nayak, Co Founder and Vice Chairperson, Expert Group of Institution, Mangalore at SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore on 30 November 2022. Mr. Mahesh Nedle, Proprietor Naran’s Foods, Mangalore and also an alumni of the college was the guest of honour. Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath presided over the programme. The theme chosen for Genesis is “Rising Phonix” Which means “to rise again no matter how many times you fall”.
Mrs. Usha Prabha in her inaugural address, said that it is important be honest in the work we do. She added that personal involvement is necessary for the success. She motivated the students to bring out the best in them and be prepared for the future. She highlighted the importance of soft skills in the current global scenario. The guest of honour, Mr. Mahesh Nedle, Propritor Narain’s food in his address shared the importance of determination and dedication in the work we do. Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath, in her presidential remarks highlighted that technological advancement is much needed in today’s world. She added that it is important to elevate ourselves in all the aspects.
Ms. Shibani, gave a brief introduction of Genesis, Ms. Prathika welcomed the gathering, Ms. Jhanavi and Ms. Ananya introduced the guests to the audience, Ms. Prajna delivered the vote of thanks, Yashaswini compeered the programme. Staff coordinators Mrs. Preethika Dharmapal and Mrs. Rashmi T student coordinators Ms. Shibani and Mr. Rahul Poojary were present.
