SDM College of Business Management, here, organized University Level Management Fest ‘Genesis-2023’, on 28 October 2023. The theme of the fest was ‘70’s BONANZA’ – Where Bollywood Meets the Boardroom.
The prorgamme was inaugurated by Chethan Nayak K., Practicing Company Secretary, Founding Partner of Chetan Nayak and Associates and also the Managing Director of Aduro Consultants Pvt Ltd.
In his inaugural address, Chetan Nayak inspired the students to grab the chances lying in the world of opportunities. “In this digital era, learning is a continuous process which adds up to the ocean of knowledge”, He said. “Motivation and teamwork can build a strong empire and contribute to success with events like Genesis“, he added.
Chief Guest, Chrismita DCosta, Senior Account Manager, Mindstrom Digital Marketing Company, Mumbai and also an alumni of the college motivated the students to make their journey from passion to profession worth admiring. She also inspired them to embrace the vibe right by feel the fear and not letting it stir their passion.
Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, Principal of the college, in her presidential remarks, highlighted the importance of participation by quoting, “Winners gain but losers will find many ways to improve”. She said that hardwork and determination are the key factors contributing to success.
Ritvik Shetty, Student Coordinator gave a brief introduction of Genesis. Shwetha Y. and Sanjana, Programme Coordinaters; and Dheeraj Prabhu student coordinator were present on the occasion.
Vishaka welcomed the gathering. Preethi Tiwari and Keertana introduced the guests. Muskan delivered the vote of thanks. Bindu compeered the programme.
