The Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management (SDMCBM), Mangalore, inaugurated its annual management fest GENESIS 2025 with the theme “Cyberspire – The Rise of Intelligence” on 19 September 2025 at the college auditorium.
The Chief Guest for the Inauguration, Mr. Gokuldas Nayak, Joint Director of District Industry Center, Mangalore, inspired the gathering by highlighting the importance of innovation, intelligence, and entrepreneurial thinking in the modern business world.
The Alumni Guest, Mr. Srivatsa, Professor at MAHE, Manipal, encouraged students to explore opportunities and excel in their chosen fields with determination and creativity.
The programme was presided over by Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, Principal of SDMCBM, who appreciated the initiative and teamwork of staff and students in organizing the fest.
The day-long event featured competitions such as Best Manager, Finance, Marketing, HR, PR, Quiz, Photography, and Videography.
The inaugural programme concluded with the grand trophy revealing ceremony, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive fest.
The event was coordinated by student coordinators Abhiram S and Nihira Kulkarni and Staff coordinators Rashmi T and Veena D. Kotian.
