Association of English Teachers Mangalore University and Department of English, SDM College of Business Management Mangalore in association with Orient Blackswan Private Limited organized a one day workshop on III semester – UG English syllabus (N.E.P scheme) at SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore on 24 November 2022. Dr. Alwyn D’Sa, Associate Professor of English, Registrar and Controller of Examinations, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) in his inaugural address said that NEP will be instrumental in bringing lot of change in the education sector. Prof. Parinitha, Chairperson, BOS in English, Mangalore University in her keynote address highlighted the importance of English globally. Prof. Aruna P Kamath, Principal SDM College of Business Management in her presidential address said that syllabus workshops are instrumental in bringing theory into practice. Dr Victor Vaz E, President, AET, Mr Sojan George, Secretary, AET, Principal, SDM College of Business Management, Mrs. Madhumathi J Raja, HOD of English SDM College of Business Management were present. The inaugural session was followed by technical sessions by various resource persons for the different papers on NEP. Mrs. Madhumathi J Raja welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Kavya U and Mrs. Mamatha Noronha introduced the guests, Dr Victor Vaz E delivered the vote of thanks, Ms. Lolita Neeta D’Souza compeered the programme.
