SDM College Of Business Management and Bajaj Finance collaborated to host the introduction of the CPBFI certification programme on 10 September 2024, which aims to help graduates enhance their employment abilities.
Ms. Rashmi Mansukhani, project manager for CSR initiatives at Walchand Plus, was the Inaugrator and the resource person .She pointed out the significance of CPBFI in enhancing employability skills.
She said that The Certified Professional in Banking & Finance (CPBFI)
programme has garnered significant attention among students and professionals aiming to enhance their qualifications in the finance and banking sectors. Launched as a specialized certification course, CPBFI focuses on equipping candidates with industry-relevant knowledge, practical skills, and a deep understanding of banking operations, financial services, and compliance standards, she added.
Prof, Aruna P Kamath, Principal of the college, emphasized the importance of CPBFI in providing students a competitive edge in today’s dynamic job market. “Our partnership with industry leaders will ensure that students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also practical insights, making them job-ready for the financial services sector,” the Principal stated.
The course has been introduced at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management, Mangalore, with the goal of bridging the gap between academic learning and the demands of the financial industry. In collaboration with prominent banking and financial institutions, this program ensures that participants are trained on the latest trends and technologies impacting the sector. With a curriculum designed by banking professionals and industry experts, the CPBFI course covers topics like risk management, financial regulations, digital banking, and customer relationship management. The course structure includes both classroom learning and hands-on training, ensuring comprehensive learning for participants. Enthusiasm for the CPBFI program is growing, with several students already enrolled, anticipating an edge in the competitive banking sector.
