On the occasion of 76 Independence Day SDM College of Business Management,celebrated the Azaadi Ka Amritha Mahothsav .
The chief guest was Commandar Manel Mahesh Nayak, Ex Indian Navy Commander of the Indian army. Dr. Tharanath, Principal of SDM Law College, Dr. Seema Shenoy, Director of SDM PG Centre for Management studies and Research and Mrs. Aruna P Kamath, Principal, SDMCBM were present.
The celebration began with the students marching together in the spirit of freedom. This was followed by evoking blessing of almighty led by Fine Arts team of the college.
A brief introduction about the chief guest Commandar Manel Mahesh Nayak, was given by Mr. Charith of III BCA.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation the National Flag was hoisted by Commandar Manel Mahesh Nayak, and singing the National Anthem by all. Commandar Manel Mahesh Nayak, motivated the students through his effective speech. He said that all of can serve our mother nation by becoming responsible towards the society that we live in. Principal Prof. Aruna P Kamath She stressed that we all should help in whatever way and form we can to our nation. She pointed out that as a nations future is students they should serve the nation in whatever way possible. She wished everyone a Happy Independence Day.
Team Fine arts sang a few patriotic songs to keep alive the spirit of patriotism in everyone’s heart.
The welcome speech was given by Ms. Chandana.
