On the occasion of National Voters’ Day, observed on 25 January, an awareness session on “Voting in India” was conducted for the students of I B.Com on 16 September 2026. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of voting, electoral participation, and the responsibilities of citizens in a democratic country.
The session was presented by final-year BBA and B.Com students — Anvith C, Abhishek Ramachandra Bhat, and Laxmikanth. They actively engaged the students through an informative and interactive one-hour session, highlighting the significance of voting and emphasizing the important role of young citizens in strengthening democratic participation.
The session provided students with an opportunity to understand the value of their electoral rights and the responsibilities associated with active citizenship. Dr. Chaitra C. Bhat coordinated the session, while Mrs. Vijetha was present during the programme.
