FDP on “New Intervention of Quality in Higher Education”

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with HR Department organized a faculty development programme on the topic “New Interventions of Quality in Higher Education” on 28 May 2022. The objective was to familiarize the faculty with area of quality enhancement in higher education. Prof. Clement D’Souza, Dean, School of Humanities, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Bangalore was the resource person of the programme. In his address his stressed upon some of the need for continuous upgradation in education sector. He highlighted some of the areas, such as programmes for stakeholders, curriculum enhancement programmes, professional ethos, student field programme, automation in internal assessment, innovation for the eco-system, international collaboration etc., where quality improvements can be undertaken. He also stressed that it is important to broaden the meaning of education particularly while adopting a new education policy.
