A one-day workshop on Entrepreneurship and Consumerism – ‘Entrepreneurship Meets Consumerism: Building a Balanced Future’ was held at SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru today (May 7).
The programme was jointly organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Cell and Consumer Club of the college.
Chief guest, Sharath, Chartered Accountant, inaugurated the workshop.
The alumni guest of honour, Kshama S., founder of Kurla and Twirls, shared her entrepreneurial journey and insights.
The session featured two technical speakers: Surya Narayan Dharshan, proprietor of Dharshan Comforts, who spoke on international trade and export management, and Karthik S Kateel, CEO and founder of Swaraksha for Women Trust, who emphasized the need for socially responsible entrepreneurship.
Student coordinators were Sinchana S. Kulal, Ananya, Swasthi B. Shetty, Sushmitha .
