An Orientation programme for the new entrants was held here at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management, today (August 12).
Principal Prof. Aruna P. Kamath welcomed the students and gave them an introduction regarding the academic disciplines.
The Faculty members gave their self-introduction to the students.
The staff coordinators of various associations gave a brief description to the students about the skill enhancement and extension activities that are to be conducted for the academic year 2024-25 and encouraged students to enroll in the various associations.
Students were addressed by Alumnus through a VT, they shared their experiences and motivated the students to take part in various activities.
The students were then shown a brief presentation about the Institute which included the motto, history, and reputation of the college along with its achievements.
The Informal programme was conducted by the final-year students to entertain and cheer up the 1st year students. To familiarize the students with the events conducted in a college a small video was shown.
Various activities like Mock Press, stress interview, quiz, Dance, singing, and Dare games were conducted and all the students actively participated.
Faculty members were present on the occasion.
Mrs.Madhumathi J Raja compered the programme. Mrs.Divya Uchil proposed vote of thanks.
