The Fine Arts Association of SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru, organised a skill enhancement activity, “Photography Competition,” on 19 August 2026 to commemorate World Photography Day. The competition was held on the theme “Earth’s Canvas – Nature Through My Lens,” encouraging students to capture and showcase the beauty of nature through their unique perspectives. The activity aimed to nurture creativity, enhance observation skills, encourage artistic expression, and develop a deeper appreciation for nature among students. Participants enthusiastically showcased their photographic talents by presenting creative and meaningful perspectives of the natural world. The competition provided students with an opportunity to explore photography as a medium of artistic expression while strengthening their visual storytelling skills. The activity was coordinated by Mrs. Sanjana and Mrs. Sowmya Jyothi and was successfully conducted with active participation and enthusiasm from the students.
