SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore, organised its annual orientation programme, “PRARAMBH – 2026,” for the newly admitted batch of 2026–2029 on 18 July at the college auditorium under the theme, “Your first step towards success and leadership.” The programme marked the formal induction of freshers into the institution’s academic and professional environment.
The event commenced at 9:00 am with enthusiastic participation from the newly admitted students, aiming to inspire them towards academic excellence and the development of corporate leadership skills.
Principal Dr. Bhanuprakash inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and welcomed the students. In his address, he highlighted the institution’s core values of discipline, academic excellence, and continuous skill enhancement. He encouraged the students to remain consistent in their efforts and assured them of the faculty’s unwavering support in nurturing their potential.
The students were provided with a comprehensive overview of the curriculum, institutional rules and regulations, and the various co-curricular associations available on campus to promote their holistic development. Designed as a strong foundation for the next three years of academic and personal growth, the orientation programme successfully introduced the students to the college’s legacy of quality management education. Students with the highest marks in the PUC examination were recognised and felicitated by the institution on this occasion.
