The inaugural function of the SCAN association of BCA Department for the year 2021-22 was held on 6 December 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the conference hall. Ms. Adithi Harish, Software Engineer, Nidec Read Corporation, Kyoto, Japan, also an alumna, inaugurated the SCAN association by lighting the lamp. She emphasized on the importance of organizing and participating in the activities of the association. She motivated the students to actively participate in all the activities and develop the overall personality.
Respected Principal, Prof. Aruna P. Kamath in her presidential address, told the students to take active participation in the association activities and to grab the opportunities available.
A video of the skill-based activities conducted in the last year and the teaser of INSPIRE 2022 was then displayed to the students. Ms Bhoomika, Student coordinator of SCAN association, welcomed the gathering; Ms. Aishwarya Hegde of final year BCA introduced the chief guest. Mr. Rahul R.Devadiga, Student coordinator of SCAN association, briefed about the objectives and activities of the association planned for the year 2021-22. Ms. Arfa Banu of final year BCA compeered the programme. Mr. Preethesh of second year BCA proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Bhat S. Sneha Ganesh coordinated the programme.
