A state-level seminar ‘Bharat 2050: Roadmap to Economic Brilliance’ was held at SDM College of Business Management (SDMCBM), Mangaluru, on October 18.
The programme was organized by Lions Prakosta, Lions District 317D, in association with the college, and Lions Club of Mangalore.
The seminar, aimed to explore a visionary roadmap for India’s economic growth and global leadership by 2050, was inaugurated by Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Member of Parliament.
Sunil Subramaniam, CEO of Sundaram Mutual Fund, delivered keynote address and shared insights on India’s potential economic trajectory and the importance of sustainable growth.
Lions District (317D) Governor Kudpi Aravind Shenoy, Mangaluru (South) MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath, Mangalore Lions Club President M. Rajesh Kamath, SDMCBM Principal Aruna P. Kamath were present.
A panel discussion followed, featuring distinguished speakers including Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Former MLC, Govt. of Karnataka; S.S. Nayak (CA), Former Chairman, ICAI Mangalore Chapter; and Anand G. Pai, Past President, Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The session was moderated by Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Lions District Coordinator, Lions Prakosta.
The seminar witnessed participation from academicians, entrepreneurs, and students.
