Sygma 2023 A One day National level IT fest was conducted on 20 May 2023 by
BCA department of SDM college of business management ,Mangalore. The theme
for this year was Neo Samkhya A universe of endless possibilities.
Mr Vishnu Shashank B. Founder and CEO ISIRI technologies Pvt Ltd .,Mangaluru
was the Inaugartor for the fest in his speech he said that The IT Fest provides a
platform to the students to explore their talents,their organizational skills and to
discover their competence and technological abilities.
The Chief Guest Mr Ajay Mada EPMO controller lead city of Ballarat (Ballarat
council ) Victoria state,Australia alumni of the college shared his experience in this
college and addressed the gathering wherein he voiced his opinion on coping up
with the growth in technology.
Prof. Aruna P Kamath The Principal in her presidential address emphasized s that
along with classroom experiences events such as technical fests help students gain knowledge regarding the latest technology.
This fest aims to connect the minds and create the bright future through various
events such as, El conquistador, Tech trivia Hypernova Hale, Visualific, Web
Dynamo.
Mr. Chethan J Rao gave a brief introduction of Sygma 2023, Ms. Vishaka Puthran
welcomed the gathering, Ms.Wiola compeered the programme.
The student coordinator Mr. Chethan J Rao and Ms. Ananya and The staff
coordinators Mrs.Shashikala Shetty and Mrs. Yogita Patgar were Present .
The programme concluded by singing Sygma Anthem and revealing of trophies.
SDM College, Ujire won the overall championship trophy and St. Philomena College Puttur won the runner’s up trophy.
