Teachers’ Day Celebration

Teacher’s Day was celebrated to mark the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher, on 3 September 2022 in the Conference Hall at 10.30 AM.   The day is also dedicated to honour the teachers of institution who play a prominent role in the life of their students and enrich their personality by imparting ethical and academic knowledge. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Narayan Nayak, Retd High school teacher, Prof. Aruna P Kamath,principal of the college and Mrs. Divya Uchil  were present on the dais. The day’s celebration started with a prayer by Mrs. Supreetha.   Mrs. Gayathri K formally welcomed the gathering on this august occasion. The significance of celebrating Teachers’ day was rightly put forward by Mrs. Jeevitha D.   She highlighted the various cases were teachers played vital role in shaping the society. Mrs. Renuthakshi introduced the Chief Guest of the program. The Chief Guest was honored by the Principal, Prof. Aruna P. Kamath.

Mr. Narayan Nayak captured the attention of audience through his excellent speech. He emphasized that a teacher is a role model to the students and therefore should always give their best to the institution as well as to the students. He also shared his experience of helping the needy students and the benefits they got by this help. The programme was concluded by the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Nagaraj.
